Brumhaus is the artwork of Alexander Edwards. He has been making prints based on local places, from cityscapes to landmarks, since 2015.

Alexander was born in Birmingham UK where he has lived for most of his life; this has had a great influence on his work. Having turned his eye to creating art when working as a designer, it’s his graphic approach which creates his interesting and unique style. Alexander focuses on architecture and urban landscapes and depicts them in a hard-edged and geometric way.

“I try to create a composition from either a real view or a montage of key elements. This is sketched a few times before I work on the image digitally, and usually finally produce as a giclée print. I love modernist art and architecture, particularly the Bauhaus movement, and also graphic design, which you can see in my art.”
